random thoughts from my notes this week:
currently watching
Long form content is in again! I love finding new cozy creators, book reviews, & vlogs. This is the latest video I’ve watched.
Video Summary: This video follows a day in life of a book lover. While showcasing her slow morning routine, current makeup, and favorite perfume Melissa discusses her current read “Ripe”. Melissa creates a warm and cozy environment all while discussing the book’s themes of depression, family dynamics, and disillusionment with the Silicon Valley.
a list of glimmers
I created a shared note with loved ones so we could each write down one “glimmer” a day. The idea is that by making note of the little things we find beautiful each day, life itself will become more beautiful. I highly recommend doing this with a friend, family member, or partner. I always love reading what others have written because I feel like I can see the world through their perspective.
currently obsessing over

Girls born in the 90s have the best sense of fashion (sorry not sorry). Lately, I have been longing for the early 90s/late 00s fashion. I am not sure if that has to do with me getting older and missing the nostalgia of the era I was once belonged to, or if it has to do with the fact that fast fashion is ruining timeless looks. Nevertheless the Chanel, & Dior archives are two of my faves. So much so, that I purchased their archival runway books for my coffee table.
motivational mood boards

One of my favorite things to do is customize my digital spaces with collages that match my current aspirations, interests, and mood. I sourced these images for my final dark and moody collage of the winter season. Scroll through this pinterest board for when you need to feel like an academic weapon.
from my camera roll…

Some favorite photos I took last fall. My entire palette last season was filled with espresso, rich browns, toasty lattes, and mixed textures.
I created a private pin board with images straight from my camera roll to look back on whenever I miss the cozy feeling of the season. For some reason it feels more refined and archival as opposed to a random folder that gets lost in my camera roll. I will definitely be making more of recaps this year.
dakota johnson’s style

I don’t know if it’s the bangs, or if it’s the way she pairs together simple basics in such a cool & effortless way, but I want her entire closet.
this week’s playlist
I am loving pink again and you know what that means! If you don’t, add this to your reading list.
that’s it from my notes app for this week!
