life update: I am drowning
Did you miss me?
Law school is everything I thought it would be and nothing like what I had imagined, all at once. I am quite literally drowning in material and with finals rapidly approaching I don’t even have time to find a life raft. (I am typing this while avoiding outlining for my finals, escapism at its finest).
The one thing no one prepares you for is the DRAMA. The cases are tea, the professors actually have a personality, your peers will sabotage you to try to set the curve, and the girls are cliquier than the Mean Girls… did you get all of that?
Someone find me a therapist and get me a magnesium please.

Ahhh yes, revenge scrolling at its finest. As if staring at a laptop screen all day wasn’t bad enough, I spend all night cozied up under my floral sheets scrolling on Pinterest and imagining what life would have been like if I chose marketing instead.
Nothing gets me more excited than carefully curating mood boards and day dreaming of every life I might have lived.

Actually… I lied. Nothing gets me more excited than shopping.
The little hit of dopamine accompanied by the “ding” of a transaction, immediately rushing to your inbox to track the package, and sprinting to the parcel locker once it’s mailed. Sheer bliss.

I am addicted to Pinterest and am constantly pinning things to various moodboards. I find that each board represents a different part of my personality and interests. This week I have been consuming a variety of content ranging from vogue archives, cozy cottage core, leather flats, and rich chocolatey browns.

I have come across the butteriest, flakiest, toastiest, yummiest croissants and sorry, but I think I will be gatekeeping for once (don’t hate me).
This week I consumed:
praline croissant + toasted coconut latte ,
chocolate-matcha croissant + lavender matcha latte
almond croissant + salted caramel latte
