random thoughts from my notes this week:
it’s all about the little things
I love taking stock of the little things that brought me joy, comfort, and peace each week. This helps me step back and realize that even through all of the stress and crazy events of the month there is so much beauty in the little things. This also helps me remember what things are really important and mean the most to me.
currently obsessing over
I am still not over the Priscilla film by Sophia Coppola and the Elvis film starring Austin Butler. I know the two films sparked a lot of controversy with regards to Elvis’ fame and their age-gap relationship. I will not be providing my two sense on the either topic but what I will say is that, both films were stunning and captured the raw emotions behind their famed filled lives beautifully.
I always love watching films that focus on real life stories and people (if you haven’t already noticed).
I can’t even imagine what it was like being alive to witness Elvis at the height of his fame. I know that he has made a lasting impression that has spanned across generations and that is not something to be taken lightly.
quotes from my therapist
I miss my therapist. Here are some random things she said that completely changed my life and perspective. Do with them what you will.
photos i’ve pinned this week
I am addicted to Pinterest and am constantly pinning things to various moodboards. I find that each board represents a different part of my personality and interests. This week I have been consuming a variety of content ranging from old films, classic novels like Wuthering Heights, and early 2000s music.
These pins are from my “lover girl” and “cinema” boards.
journal prompts for days you’re feeling off
I started off this week feeling overwhelmed, anxious, and STRESSED. Here are some journal prompts I use whenever I need to analyze my feelings, recenter, and refocus. These prompts are great for taking a look at why you feel the way you feel and setting up measurable steps to take action to improve your overall well being.
this week’s playlist
Girls born in the 90s have the best playlists (sorry not sorry). This week I took a nostalgic trip down memory lane with all of the songs I grew up listening to on the radio. This is my go to playlist for whenever I want to feel like a little girl sitting in the passenger seat of my dad’s car with no care in the world.
that’s it from my notes app for this week!
